He was a British prisoner. His regiment was Reme.
He was sent up country to be an interpreter for the Japs on the Burma-Thailand
(Siam) Railway. We don't know
much more about him. He is still alive and finished his term in the Army and
ended up as a Major. I have never met him. My mother hasn't
seen him since she was 18 years old. The history
surrounding this part of our lives needs to be filled in some how! If you have
