Trevor Brown

Trevor Brown, RAF, born 9th June 1922 in Grimsby, England.

We know very little about his time as a Japanese POW as he was unwilling to talk about it. We would like to find out more to support my Mother's claim for compensation from the UK government. We are not sure which camp he was in but probably passed thru Changi or Penang and he did work on the Burma railroad.

We know he had beriberi and gangrene behind his eye. He had to have all his teeth taken out and he certainly never left a morsel on his plate.

What was unusual is he was taken to USA and spent some time recuperating at a film star's ranch. Did anyone else get taken there?

Any info about this period would be appreciated.
