Dr. Joseph Patrick Monisse

Joseph Patrick Monisse was a Japanese POW interred in Changi Gaol (Jail), Thailand [Changi Gaol is in Singapore, ED.]. He was a surgeon with the Indian Medical Department who died at the age of 57 in 1942. Apparently he was a specialist in tropical medicine which is why he was in the Indian Medical Department.
